RMTD Internet Service - RFP Package
Rides Mass Transit District (RMTD) is a municipal governmental entity that provides transportation services to 18 counties in southeastern Illinois stretching from Edgar to Pope County.
Rides is currently accepting proposals for internet services throughout our district.
Proposals may be submitted to the address or email below by November 18th, 2016.

Proposal specification packages may be obtained through Rides Mass Transit District’s website (www.ridesmtd.com) by clicking the Business pulldown, Procurement then select Bids and Proposals or by requesting from the above email. Proposals will be received until 11:00 a.m., November 18th, 2016 at the aforementioned email address. Proposals received after the deadline will not be accepted.
A list of specifications is described in the Required Specifications page in this packet. Failure to meet specifications will be deemed non-responsive.
Although the contract will be executed by RMTD, funding is being provided through operating assistance from the Illinois Department of Transportation, Division of Public Transportation, and the Federal Transportation Administration.
The right is reserved to accept any proposal or any parts of said proposal or reject any and all proposals. Acceptance of any quote is subject to concurrence by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to submit proposals and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin or disability in consideration for an award. To determine if company is a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise please complete the DBE question form.
The contract will be awarded to the most qualified proposal that yields the best possible advantage to the district.
