Rides Mass Transit District is evaluating possible locations for the construction of a new public transit operations center in Richland County through the state of Illinois' Rebuild Capital program. Before a preferred site is selected and in accordance with FTA Title VI Guidelines, RMTD is inviting public comments from interested parties regarding the feasibility of the location(s).

 

Rides Mass Transit District hereby gives public notice of its policy to uphold and assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and all related statutes. Title VI and related statutes prohibiting discrimination in Federally-assisted programs require that no person in the United States of America shall on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to, discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance

 

Comments on the Title VI Equity Analysis and Project Feasibility will be accepted through COB Tuesday, July 5, 2022 and may be emailed to mikayla.moake@ridesmtd.com or mailed to:

RMTD is also holding a virtual public hearing on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 10 a.m. to provide the public with an opportunity to ask questions and submit written questions.  Interested parties may attend in person at the address listed above or dial into the conference by phoning 1-618-215-3728 and entering conference ID 047053#
