Rides Mass Transit District offers simple, consistent fares whether you are using demand response or fixed route service. Choose between cash fares for single trips or multi-day passes if you ride more often.

Choose a one-way fare for single trips or a 30, 180 or 365 day pass for frequent travel within the RMTD service area.

Current fares and local transit passes
These fares apply to RMTD service for adults, seniors, persons with disabilities and children. All riders must be ready to pay when boarding.
Cash fares
Cash fares are usually paid by riders making occasional trips. Prices below cover demand response and fixed route service.
Adults (ages 11+)
Standard cash fares for adults ages 11 and older.

Transit passes are the best value for riders making two or more round trips with multiple stops on in-county routes.

Where and how to purchase fares
Purchase fares directly from RMTD drivers, at operations centers, over the phone or through the Token Transit app where available.
Ways to pay
Choose the option that works best for you. Some choices may vary by community or route type.

On the bus
RMTD drivers sell bus fares and passes. Have your exact fare or pass ready when you board to help keep service on time.

Call the operation center in your area for assistance with purchasing fares, planning trips or learning more about eligibility for discounted passes.

Token Transit app
Use the Token Transit app to purchase fares for fixed route service in Marion, Harrisburg, Robinson and Olney. Show your activated pass to the driver when boarding.
